PREVAIL jerky is completely soy-free. We use Organic coconut aminos, a popular Paleo soy sauce substitute, to give our Umami and Lemongrass flavors their amazing and unique flavor profiles.
Yes, our jerky is Free-From all the Top 8 Allergens: Dairy, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts (we do contain coconut sugar, vinegar and aminos), Fish, Shellfish, Wheat & Soy. Our co-packing facility is dedicated free of peanut, tree nut (not including coconut), egg, fish, shellfish, and mustard.
Since there are no artificial preservatives it is best to refrigerate our product if you don’t eat it in one sitting...but we won’t judge if you do.

Our passion for making clean, healthy, high protein snacks stems from our dedication to making clean eating on-the-go a reality. We use coconut sugar and salts to help cure the meat and then smoke it with Cherry Wood to naturally preserve it (the natural smoke also happens to add tons of flavor). Since we don't use additives to preserve our product, please keep refrigerated after opening.
All of our jerky is made Nebraska. Our product is the first product run in the morning after the strict HACCP level cleaning the night prior to ensure that there is no cross-contamination. Regulators are regularly on site to ensure the highest standards are met. We are also Paleo Certified, which means the Paleo Foundation reviews the origins of every ingredient that we use to make sure that there is no contamination of grains, soy, gluten or dairy along the way.
All of our marinades & spices are 100% organic, and blended with 100% grass-fed, grass-finished non GMO beef or 100% free range turkey with no antibiotics or hormones. We source our organic spices from the most reliable vendors across the world while the main ingredient, the beef, comes from family-owned New Zealand farms that are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.

Most meat is “Grass-Fed” but it’s “Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished” meat that’s special. Grass-Finished refers to what cattle are fed in the last period of their lives. Most cattle are fed grain toward the end to help them put on weight. However, when they are grass finished, they are kept on the pasture, which results in higher quality (and tastier) meat.
We work with family farms in New Zealand, where the cows can be pastured all year long.
Our beef is from a co-op of Family Farms in New Zealand where the climate is ideal all year round and the cattle are raised in ideal conditions. They are healthy, happy, and therefore don’t require any antibiotics or hormones. Our turkey is from family farms right here in the US, they are certified humane and only let their turkey's graze on organic grass. Fun fact: Did you know GMOs were banned in New Zealand?

Yes! We use coconut sugar to add just the right amount of sweetness to our products. Coconut Sugar rates a 35 on the low-glycemic index vs cane sugar which rates 65 on the same scale.
